COMMUNITY OUTREACH
SOORYA Performing Arts has a highly acclaimed Community Outreach Program that presents nearly 30 programs every year to over 10,000 people in schools and universities, museums, libraries, and community organizations.
The Outreach Program brings Indian classical dances such as Bharatha Natyam, Kathak to life and engages people of all ages in reduced-fee or free of charge programs, with programs that are tailored specifically to the needs of each individual school or organization. Soorya deepens the educational experience at each and every performance by means of accompanying English language lecture-demonstrations and extensive program notes. The result is that all audiences, no matter their background, have an enjoyable and connected artistic experience.
