One facet of the vast creation of Rabindranath Tagore is "Rabindra Sangeet".  This literally means songs written and composed by Rabindranath Tagore.  Rabindranath was trained in Indian classical music and was exposed to different musical styles at his home from his childhood.  He learned western music during his first Europe tour at the age of 17.  His love of music and imaginative mind inspired him to use different styles of music to create his songs.  There are about 2230 Rabindra sangeets. Unique expressive  verses and sufficient melodic and rhythmic variations in those songs make the Rabindra Sangeets a timeless treasure.  Few Rabindra Sangeets, highlighting different styles adopted by Rabindranath, will be presented.
